ollowing a slight rebound in 2024, Canadian venture capital (VC) fundraising continued to trend downward in what marked a particularly poor 2025, a new RBCx report has found.
Three founders, Haynes, Candice Faktor of Disco, and Jean Le Bouthillier of Qohash, have scaled their businesses globally while navigating the friction of building from Canada. Their insights, shared during a Source Canada conversation moderated by RBCx’s Anush Sachdeva, point to a problem that goes beyond venture funding or government policy.

While much of the conversation has focused on clinical paperwork and electronic medical records, a new study from Dr.Bill, a medical billing platform powered by RBCx, is the first to focus exclusively on the scope and impact of non-clinical administrative tasks.

According to a recent study commissioned by Mydoh, 81 per cent of Canadian parents report feeling stressed about back-to-school shopping.

Canadian company Flosonics Medical has raised C$7.5m ($5.18m) in venture debt financing from financial solutions provider RBCx to expedite the market adoption of the wireless wearable Doppler ultrasound device, FloPatch.
