Canadian entrepreneurs can start and manage their business with new FreshBooks and Ownr collaboration

The collaboration connects two of Canada’s leading small business platforms, giving entrepreneurs a seamless path from incorporation to financial management.

TORONTO, Canada, June 2, 2026 — Today, FreshBooks, an innovative small business management software, and Ownr, the digital platform for business registration, incorporation, and maintaining compliance announced a strategic collaboration that can start a business in Canada with speed and ease.

Through the collaboration, entrepreneurs launching a business with Ownr will receive an introductory offer of 60% off FreshBooks for six months to help manage their financial operations from day one. FreshBooks users can also start a new business with 20% off incorporation and managed corporation fees via Ownr. The two platforms support entrepreneurs with their administrative needs from registering a business and maintaining their compliance to sending invoices and accepting cash payments. The collaboration is designed to reduce the friction that often slows new business owners down in their earliest and most critical stage.
